Renting a Boat at Canandaigua Lake

Renting a boat allows you to try out different styles of boats and get a feel for how they operate, which can help you find a great boat of your own later on. Additionally, renting a boat is a low-stress way to enjoy time on the water, since you don’t have to worry about transport, maintenance, or storage needs.

Pack Your Stuff
We’ll provide you with the boat, but you’ll need to pack your gear to ensure you and your family and friends have a great day on the lake. A cooler full of snacks and drinks, a first-aid kit, sunscreen, bug spray, life jackets, swimsuits, towels, and extra clothes are smart things to bring with you.
Your Rental Options
At German Brothers Marina, we offer brand-new Qwest® pontoons and tritoons for your use on Canandaigua Lake. Our pontoons and tritoons have tow ropes, iPod hookups, bimini tops, lounge chairs, and pillow-top wrap seating for you to enjoy. You can purchase inner tubes at the marina.
You can rent boats by the hour, by the day, for a weekend, or for overnights up to a week. On weekends and holidays, you can only rent the boats for the entire day. We offer both 22’ and 24’ lengths.
What Else to Know
In order to rent one of our pontoons or tritoons, the operator of the boat must be at least 25 years old with a valid driver’s license. You can purchase a damage waiver to protect yourself from the costs of harm to the boat. Please do not bring pets or grills. No smoking is allowed on our boats. There is a $50 charge if the boat needs excessive cleaning. You can cancel your rental for a full refund up to 48 hours before the scheduled time.
